Music and the Arts
Music and the arts are two of our priorities at Most Holy Trinity School. Once a week during our in-person learning, our Preschool-5 students participate in a music class led by our music teacher. Not only does access to music help to develop our students' brains and talents, but it enhances our weekly Masses and monthly school liturgies. Students in grades 6-8 have the opportunity to join our school choir, which takes place after school twice a week. The students love to share their musical gifts with the larger community at our Christmas Program, prayer services, Grandparent's Day, Diocesan Choral Festival, and Spring Art Fair.
At Most Holy Trinity, all students are welcomed to participate in the choir. The MHT School Choir program is currently in a hiatus during Distance Learning, but will return soon. The choir also leads the music in our weekly Mass and our monthly Family Mass. Our choir also performs at special events during the school year.
Students in kindergarten through eighth grade participate in weekly art class. Students are encouraged to express themselves through their art projects. The students also learn about a variety of artists and modes of creating art. In May the students get to display their art for the whole community to see.
